Optometry is a healthcare profession which provides primary eye care to the community. It includes finding the refractive errors of eyes, prescribing glasses, manufacturing glasses, spectacle frames, intricacies of lenses, protective glasses, contact lenses and other things that deal with the improving of vision and also assisting the eye surgeons in Operation Theatres
We provide Diploma in Optometry which is a two years course and is affiliated to UP State Medical Faculty, Lucknow.
The School of Optometry, Eye Hospital and the General Hospital is situated in the same campus which extends to an area of 8 acres.

Eye Department
Well Equipped 50 beds eye hospital with OT Complex, OPD complex, Wards, Refraction Room, Optical Shop, Computer Room and Medical Store. The eye hospital is fully equipped with most modern instrument and equipment like Operating Microscope, Slit Lamp, Tonometer, Synoptophore, Autorefractometer, Phacoemulsification Machine, A-Scan etc. The hospital deals with all kind of eye diseases like Cataract, Glaucoma, Refractive errors, etc.
Educational Qualification
10+2 (Intermediate) or equivalent examination with PCB/PCM from a recognized board.
Age Limit
The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 1st July of the year of admission.

Medical Examination
The medical examination will be carried out in Memorial Hospital Fatehgarh at the time of interview.
The School of nursing, and student nurses hostel is situated in the same campus along with General Hospital & Eye hospital which extends to an area of 8 acres. We not only train student nurses but also mould the young minds towards the service to the community. The training consists of classroom teaching and practical learning in Labs, Hospital and community field. We offer GNM training for female students with hostel facility.

Clinical Experience for the students are offered at parent hospital, affiliated hospital and Community fields in Fatehgarh, Farrukhabad
